Stephanie Steuri right after being crowned Miss Hawai‘i 2014.

Kaua‘i’s Stephanie Steuri, of Kalaheo, was crowned Miss Hawaii 2014 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center in Honolulu last Saturday evening.

“I am up, refreshed, and ready to take on the last day of rehearsals before the Miss Hawaii pageant. This journey has helped me grow in so many ways that no matter the outcome, I know in my heart I have won,” she said on her Facebook page on the day before the Miss Hawai‘i Scholarship Pageant.

Steuri, who entered the pageant as the reigning Miss Paradise Kaua‘i 2014, is currently majoring in biology at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.

“Mahalo nui loa to all those who and believed in me and supported me along the way,” Steuri said.

She will be heading to the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey to represent the Aloha State in the Miss America 2015, the 88th Miss America Pageant, on Sept. 14.
