County announces holiday closures

In observance of King Kamehameha Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 11 along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, Kaua‘i Resource Center, and the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools. In addition, The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule.

Residential refuse pick-up will not be affected by the holiday, and will continue as scheduled.

Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be open on the holiday, as well as all HI-5 bottle redemption centers that are normally open on Tuesdays, except for the Kaua’i Resource Center.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Thursday, June 12.
