Students from 10 University of Hawai‘i campuses, including Kaua‘i Community College, participated in commencement ceremonies across the state last Friday.

KCC students celebrated their hard work at a ceremony at Vidinha Stadium in Lihu‘e, starting at 6:15 p.m. May 13.

Kuʻualoha Hoʻomanawanui (BA, Hawaiian Studies; MA, Polynesian Religion; PhD, English) was the evening’s keynote speaker. He was joined by student speakers Chelise Kaohelauli’i Ka’aihue (Candidate for Bachelors in Nursing), Alexa K. M. Thompson (Candidate for AA in Liberal Arts) and Tristol Victoria Uilani Manuel (Candidate for AS in Hospitality and Tourism).
