The Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk is reminding the public that the last day to register to vote for the 2016 Primary Election is Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Drive-thru voter registration services will be offered by the Elections Division on July 13 and July 14, 2016, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., in the parking area fronting the Historic County Building and Annex in Līhu‘e.

In addition to drive-thru voter registration, online voter registration for individuals who possess a Hawai‘i Driver’s License or Hawai‘i State Identification Card can be completed athttp://elections.hawaii.gov/.

To be eligible to vote, individuals must be a U.S. citizen, resident of Hawai‘i and at least 18 years old.

Individuals who are 16 years of age may pre-register, but are not eligible to vote until age 18.

Voter registration forms are available online athttp://elections.hawaii.gov/and at:

• U.S. Post Offices
• Public Libraries
• Yellow Pages
• Most State Agencies

Completed voter registration forms must be received by the Elections Division by 4:30 p.m. on July 14, 2016. If mailed, voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before July 14, 2016. Online voter registrations must be completed by 4:30 p.m. on July 14, 2016.

The Primary Election will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
