The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay proudly hosts its Black & White Celebration

“Rotary Goes Black and White for the Community”

Each year the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay holds a Black & White Celebration at the St. Regis Hotel to help fund all of our many causes across the community.

From picking up trash & helping other community organizations with their events, to rebuilding Piers; to helping with rescue tubes and GOOT; to running international relief projects across the world; to a myriad of projects in the schools; to our new initiatives helping open & run the food Pantry in Kilauea and starting our ‘save a life’ program by getting all of our members qualified in CPR and AED use.

And there are more to come – we keep asking the question, “if not us then who in the community will address this issue?”

Tickets are $140 for those having dinner & $50 for general admission. The dinner seating is very limited. Both tickets include an open bar for 90 minutes; the show(s); photographs; live and silent auction and dancing the night away.

Tuxedo not required – dress smart Island.

This year we are adding a brand new concept to the celebration line up – a cultural and fashion show with five lines of clothes from local designers and local stores, with accessories and Jewelry added.

It will be a great event all around.

After the Cultural & Fashion show there will be a live auction, which will include some of the clothes shown on the runway and some quite unique items.

Thereafter you can dance the night away to the band, Group Therapy, one of the very best on the Island. For a donation two lucky people can “join the band” for a song or two – your 5 minutes of fame perhaps.

A silent auction will run until 9.00 PM, but rather than just toss everything at you, we have tables focused on different genres – jewelry; paintings; sports items and antiques; and many more.

It will be a unique event for all ages and interests .. and we hope to raise a lot of money to support all the things we do and remember everything goes straight back in to the community.

Our thanks to those that are helping sponsor this event – it is an amazing community response.

The evening is a celebration of Rotary and all is does for the community – one hundred years in Hawaii and proud of all we have done – come and join us so we can keep putting “service above self”.
